  3. Hmm... good question! The way I "teach on a limb" (or rather, WILL teach on a limb) is to stretch my students' minds as far as they can go. Challenging each and every student to make sure the work isn't too easy for them and making it somewhat of a "scary" process for them is my goal. To show each and every student that they, in fact, CAN do it.

  4. I have always tried to push and encourage my students to do more than they thought they could no matter what their circumstances were.
    That is how I teach on a limb.

  5. I teach on a limb by challenging district "requirements" that go against what is good for our kids.

  9. One way that I teach "on a limb" is to be flexible! Sometimes I have to change things on the spot depending on students & when things don't go exactly as I planned. It's not always easy, but I try to always have plan B, or C. :)
